• KALISPELL placed third in a new ranking of the top 10 places to retire in Montana. Whitefish came in fifth in the study, conducted by financial technology website SmartAsset.

The evaluation looked at factors including per-capita

density of doctors offices, recreation centers,

retirement centers and percentage of seniors.

Livingston took the top spot in the ranking, and Lewistown came in second.
