Sharon M. Hunter, 80

Sharon Margaret Hunter, of Bigfork, died on June 18, 2021, at Heritage Place in Kalispell due to a steady decline following a stroke and seizures on April 18, 2021.

Sharon was the daughter of Roy and Margaret Stahl, longtime residents of Swan Lake. Sharon earned her RN nursing pin in 1961. Later that year she married James T. Hunter.

Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1964 from Montana State College. Sharon was a dedicated nurse who spent 40 years in nursing before retiring in 2020 and moving to Flathead Lake.

While still lucid, Sharon expressed her appreciation for the loving care of the nursing staff on the third floor of the Kalispell Regional Medical Center and of the Heritage Place in Kalispell.

She is survived by her husband Jim, and her children Jamie and David. She is greatly missed by her family and friends.
