Twins get lopsided win at Ed Gallo wood bat tourney
WHITEFISH — Mason Peters and Stevyn Andrachick set the table, and the Glacier Twins cleaned up for a 23-0 win over Kootenai Valley Thursday night at the Ed Gallo Wood Bat Tournament.
Peters, who had three hits, and Andrachick, who walked twice, each scored four times. Mike Glass added a 4-for-4 performance at the plate, driving in five runs, and he also scored three runs.
A quartet of Libby pitchers issued eight walks and the Loggers’ defense committed eight erorrs.
Danny Dunn, meanwhile, spun a 5-inning 2-hitter, walking nobody. He struck out three.
Tristan Butts and Joshua Butts had the hits for Libby (8-16).
Dunn also drove in two runs. Zach Veneman drew three walks and scored three times.
The Twins (28-8) played the late game at the Gallo tournament Friday as well, and results were not available at press time.

LIBBY — CJ Anderson tripled and drove in two runs as the Moscow Blue Devils downed Libby 9-1 in Legion baseball late Thursday.
Tripp Zhang accounted for Libby’s run with a solo homer in the third. It was the Loggers’ only hit in the five-inning contest against Connor Akins, who threw four innings.
Libby played the Bitterroot Bucs late Friday.
