Early lead sets stage for Logger victory
LIBBY — The Libby Loggers racked up 11 hit Sunday morning en route to an 8-4 American Legion baseball victory over the visiting North Idaho Lakers.
Caden Williams and Aydan Williamson were each 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Libby. Williams belted a triple and had an RBI, while Williamson had a double and an RBI.
Caleb Moeller allowed six hits and four runs with four strikeouts over six innings to pick up the win for the Loggers (9-17).
The Loggers led 5-2 after three innings.
