This year’s week-long conference will feature a two-day seminar by internationally renowned speaker and educator J. Eric Gentry March 11 and 12.

• March 8, noon to 1 p.m. — Barrett will present "Recharge: Taking Compassion Resilience to the Next Level," exploring how to foster compassion resilience, gives special attention to caring for care providers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Registration is required and is $30 with CEs, $25 without.

• March 9, noon to 1 p.m. — Free, public professional seminar "Meeting the Needs of American Indians: Cultural Considerations for Coping with Current Events." Maegan Rides At The Door, director of the National Native Children's Trauma Center and a Tamarack board member, will focus on common experiences and challenges affecting American Indians amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

• March 10, 5 to 6 p.m.— Free, public community workshop, “Grief in Montana: Let’s Talk About It.” Focusing on community connection, small group discussions will be created in the networking roundtable to share challenges, solutions, highlights and expand the network of care. The workshop is geared toward community care providers.

• March 11-12, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Two-day seminar by Gentry for professionals titled “Grief & Trauma Competency: Facing Forward.” This skills-building workshop is specifically designed for care providers who sit daily with trauma survivors.
