Lions, Vikings fall at divisional
EUREKA — Cody Burk poured in 25 points to help the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks take down the Eureka Lions 71-61 Friday at the Western B divisional in a loser-out game.
Ben Cooper added 20 for the Blue Hawks, who scored 30 points in the third quarter.
Gavin Bates led the Lions with 19 points. The Lions led 32-26 at the half before the Blue Hawks’ offense exploded in the third.
Thompson Falls will face Bigfork today at 11:30 a.m. in loser out play .

Deer Lodge completed a 46-40 comeback win over Bigfork in the Western B semifinals.
Bigfork led 21-15 at the half, but the Wardens answered with a 6-0 run in the third to cut the lead 26-21.
Ozzie King’s three point play and a three by Logan Nicholson cut the Vikings’ lead to one going into the fourth.
Bigfork took a 34-33 lead on Colin Wade’s corner three with 6:04 left, but it was the last time they would lead.
King led Deer Lodge with 19 points.
Isak Epperly paced Bigfork with 13 points and Bryce Gilliard had 10.
Deer Lodge will play Florence for the Western B title at 6:30 p.m. today.
