Law roundup: Phone and watch battle results in 911 call

A man accidentally dialed 911 and hung up. Dispatchers called him back and he said his phone and watch “were having a battle.”

A drunk driver allegedly parked near the front of the door, threw a bunch of beer cans out of his vehicle and then almost fell while getting out of it, according to someone who called the Kalispell Police Department to report the incident.

Someone found a dozen syringes lying in the grass.

A purse with a spoon, needles and marijuana was found in front of a building. It was collected for destruction.

An apartment dweller found a drug needle lying on the ground in front of the building.

An SUV with plastic-covered windows reportedly hit the curb a few times, which led someone to believe the driver might be drunk.

A man dressed in all black was reportedly having a difficult time using a walker on the side of the highway, but he made it home safely.

A parent allegedly gave his daughter permission to use his vehicle, but she was not answering the phone, so he went to the police department lobby to file a report for a stolen vehicle.

A man asked officers to check on his residence after a camera reportedly caught someone banging on the house and he thought they were trying to break in. He also told police that a sedan had been driving by multiple times.

A man was scared by a dog while trying to use a bank ATM and exited the building. He asked officers to remove the dog and its owner. He was advised the bank would need to call the police to move the person along.

A man with a giant brown blanket was hanging around businesses for hours and someone asked officers to move him along.

A vehicle was reportedly high centered on a rock in the corner of a man’s yard. The man aid his neighbor told him a guy left the scene on foot.

Someone’s pills were reportedly taken from their apartment while they were in the hospital.
