Evergreen meeting looks at sidewalk project

The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce presents its High Noon and Facebook Live presentation at noon on Thursday, March 25.

The meeting focus will be the Safe Routes to School Sidewalk Project. The Evergreen Chamber has partnered with the Evergreen Community Partners in an effort to improve the pedestrian infrastructure in Evergreen. Without a current bus system, Evergreen school children are walking to and from the junior high on the busy and dangerous U.S. 2 corridor.

The committee plans to apply for an upcoming Montana Department of Transportation grant to offset some of the build-out costs. Look for more detailed information coming soon on the Evergreen Chamber website.

Call the Evergreen Chamber at 885-1212 for details on how to tap into the High Noon presentation.
