At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Steel Tank: Remove the existing interior and exterior lead-based coatings from a 1.0 million gallon, 66-foot diameter steel water tank. Provide containment and abatement of lead-based paint on tank interior and exterior. Weld areas of corrosion on interior tank components. Apply new high performance interior and exterior coating. Install new safety ladder and standing platform for access to roof. Install Cathodic Protection system, including magnesium anodes on tank floor. Miscellaneous electrical and mechanical improvements. Install Owner Furnished Equipment which includes submersible mixers and all necessary appurtenances to bring mixers into full operation.
