Flathead Valley Home School girls play on at national tourney
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Makaila Burlingame scored 20 points and Flathead Valley Home School made a 19-8 halftime lead hold up for a 34-23 win over CHSA Texas the NHBS HomeSchool Nationals Wednesday.
Codi Kenney hit a pair of 3-pointers and added six points for the Crusaders, who are 1-0 in Division II bracket play. They’ll play “Team USA,” a thrown-together team, in the bracket semifinals Thursday at 6:20 p.m. Mountain.
Burlingame shot 10-for-14 from the floor.
