Flathead Business newsmakers

• Kalispell Regional Medical Center and North Valley Hospital have been recognized by The Chartis Group as top hospitals in the nation.

The health-care advisory and analytics firm named KRMC a top 100 Rural & Community Hospital, and NVH was selected as a top 100 Critical Access Hospital.

It’s the second year in a row both hospitals have earned this recognition, which is derived from 50 indicators based on publicly available data.

• Jodi Smith, workforce training director at Flathead Valley Community College's Continuing Education Center, recently completed the Facilitation Skills Online Certificate Program offered through Association for Talent Development.

This training improves a facilitator's skills in helping stakeholders, managers and process owners uncover new opportunities and assist in making positive and growth-minded changes in organizations.
