Flathead’s Cripe, Glacier’s Keller are All-State
Glacier senior guard Ellie Keller is an All-State selection for Class AA basketball, in voting by Western AA coaches.
Keller was the lone Kalispell player named All-State for girls’ basketball, while Flathead’s Joston Cripe was the lone All-State pick among the city’s boys.
Keller averaged 12.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 steals to help the Wolfpack make the State AA tournament. She’s one of six first-team all-Western AA selections, all of which make All-State.
The list included Dani and Paige Bartsch of state champion Helena Capital.
Glacier’s Kenzie Williams was a second-team All-Western AA selection, as was Flathead junior Claire Converse.
Glacier’s Emma Anderson was honorable mention.
Cripe averaged 15.6 points, 5.2 assists and 2.6 steals for the Braves, who went 6-9 this past season. Five Western AA players made first-team all-league and thus All-State; Missoula Sentinel had two of them in Alex Germer and Tony Frohlich-Fair.
Glacier’s Weston Price was named second-team all-Western AA; teammate Jaxon Olsen was honorable mention, along with the Flathead tandem of Gabe Adams and Hunter Hickey.
