Joshua Dwain Jackson, 35
Joshua Dwain Jackson, 35, of Columbia Falls, passed away suddenly as a result of a single vehicle accident in Libby, Montana.
He was born in Kalispell on Aug. 11, 1985, and attended school at West Valley. He graduated from Flathead High School in 2004.
Josh had a true passion for the woods and it was where he found much needed peace. It was fitting that Josh spent many years working as a logger. When the logging industry slowed down Josh went to work at La Salle Sand and Gravel. He discovered he wanted to be a mechanic and was employed as a diesel mechanic at CTR Diesel (Clarke Truck Repair) at the time of his death.
Josh jumped many hurdles, faced many trials, moved countless mountains. He was hard-headed, ornery, stubborn and always had to have the last word; but his heart was huge. He was a fighter and he never gave up — always looking for the brighter, more positive things in life.
Josh had many passions in life-the woods, hunting, working, his many friends, the women that he loved, and his mother. But his true passion — his heart and soul, the will to make it through another day — were his amazing children whom he loved more than life itself.
Josh was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Albert and Edna Warner; his grandparents Al and Rose Warner and his best friend Duke.
Survivors include his beautiful children Jewell and Luke Jackson; his sister Alyssa Stratton and her family; and his mother Alana Warner.
A celebration of life and/or funeral services are pending. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
