Terrence C. Strand, 73

With great sadness we announce, Terry Strand, age 73, passed away peacefully March 18, 2021, in Kalispell surrounded by his girls.

He was born on April 14, 1947, to Mel and Hilda Strand. He was born and raised in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead High School.

Terry met Loretta Stokes in 1972 and six months later were married. They had two daughters, Tara and Tana.

For most of his adult life Terry worked for Plum Creek Lumber Co. until retiring in 2016. He was a kind and gentle soul that could carry on a conversation with anyone. He was his girls’ and grandchildren's number one fan attending any event they participated in. He was a master with his hands enjoying painting cars, yard work, and working in his shop. He also enjoyed a game of golf. He was a sports fanatic and loved watching games on TV especially his favorite football team the Oakland Raiders.

Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents.

He is survived by his wife Loretta; daughters Tara Measure (Buck), Tana Werner (Tom); four grandchildren Rhett, Maggie, Thorin and Tova; sister Regina Houston, and many relatives.

A private memorial service will be held by his family. He was one of a kind and will always be in our hearts. He will be greatly missed.
