Michele Elizabeth Dodson, 49

Michele Elizabeth Dodson, age 49, of Kalispell, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her home.

Michele was born Dec. 17, 1972, in Carmel, California, to David Otto McMahan and Rita Sue Amacker. Michele received a bachelor’s degree at Breschia University of Owensboro, Kentucky, and a master’s degree at the University of Louisville, after which she worked as a Clinical Social Worker specializing in child abuse and obsessive compulsive disorders, as well as other conditions.

Michele is preceded in death by her father David Otto McMahan; her grandparents Coy and Luvenia Goff; and granddaughter Kyla Bay Welch.

She is survived by her children: Laci Lancaster (Thomas Welch) of Clarksville, Tennessee; Bailey Dodson Howell (Jake Howell) of Abilene, Texas; Rylee Dodson (Logan Evans) of Owensboro, Tennessee; Layton “Hoadie” Rickard of Owensboro, Tennessee; grandchildren: Karson Lee Welch and Gracelynn Leigh Dodson; her mother Rita Sue Amacker of Joelton, Tennessee; sisters Alison “Ali” Blehm of Springfield, Tennessee; Sara McMahan and Molly McMahan of Carmel, California; aunts: LaDonna Tunison of Joelton, Tennessee, Kathleen Colone of Fresno, California and Connie Walle of Columbia Falls.
