Teen charged with robbery in Lakeside

A Kalispell teenager was jailed on an alleged robbery charge after an incident Sunday night in Lakeside.

According to information from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, at about 10:18 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to the Mavericks Roadhouse and Casino in Lakeside after a juvenile boy from Kalispell said a group of teens in a pickup truck threatened him and then took his backpack.

The backpack had valuables and cash. Deputies were able to locate the suspect, who was a 17-year old boy from Kalispell, and arrest him.

The suspect was on probation at the time he committed the crime. He was arrested and transported to the detention center for the robbery charge.

No one was injured during the course of the robbery.

The robbery investigation is being conducted by the patrol division.
