Kalispell Black and Blue romps to win
MISSOULA — Four players scored their first tries and the Kalispell Black and Blue scored eight total Friday, in a 44-17 win over the Missoula Mud Dogs in high school rugby at Fort Missoula.
Bryan Osborne, Henry Bennetts, Sawyer Troupe and Brendan Role each scored for the first time in their Black and Blue careers.
Assistant coach Bob St. Onge said Cade Troupe was the player of the game, leading the team in tackles and to a decided advantage in possession.
Also scoring were Timber Richberg, Fin Nadeau and Alec Thomas. Thomas had two tries and Nadeau had one of the club’s two conversions.
The Black and Blue’s next action is Saturday against Helena, at Hillcrest Field located on Whitefish Stage in Kalispell at 1 p.m.
