White sparks Libby in rout of Ronan

RONAN — Jossayn White homered, doubled and drove in two runs, and Taylor Munro held Ronan to three hits in Libby’s 11-1 win over the Maidens in Northwest A softball Tuesday.

White’s two-run home run capped the Loggers’ offensive output, in the sixth inning. She doubled and scored in the second inning and added an RBI single to cap Libby’s three-run fourth.

Lindee McElmurry had three hits and scored three runs for Libby, and had RBI singles in the fourth and fifth innings.

Munro pitched six innings — the game ended there because of the mercy rule — and gave up three hits and two walks while striking out four.

Kiara Sherman drove in Ronan’s run with an RBI single with one out in the sixth.
