Wolfpack splits dual with Hellgate

The Glacier tennis team was able to finish one dual out of three on a rainy and cold Saturday at FVCC after a long rain delay.
Missoula Sentinel and Big Sky were also on the docket but the weather stymied all but Glacier’s matchup with Hellgate. The boys won 5-3, and Hellgate beat the girls 5-3.
Rory Smith and Kyler Knutson won at No. 1 and No. 4 boys singles and both are 9-0 this season. Smith beat Sebastian Silverstein 6-0, 6-0.
Will Rudbach also won for Glacier at No. 2 singles, beating Ethan Schroeder in straight sets.
In girls’ singles, Rachel Jutzi was Glacier’s only winner, taking down Chloe McCulloch 6-2, 6-2.
The boys doubles pairs of Alex Galloway and Trey Engellant and Ethan Woods and Timmy Glanville earned victories and are undefeated at 10-0.
Girls doubles pairs Tori Dobis and Katy Bitney and Kendall VanAken and Madison Terry also prevailed over their Hellgate opponents
Coming up next for Glacier is hosting crosstown tennis against Flathead at 3 p.m. Thursday.
