Law roundup: Stink raised about skunk’s daytime stroll
A suspicious skunk was ambling around the yard of an abandoned house. The person wanted Kalispell Police Department aware of it because they purportedly thought it was weird that a skunk was out during daylight hours.

A passerby was concerned about a woman’s welfare because she appeared to have been beaten and was walking around a parking lot asking for money and saying her car had broken down. She told officers she and her dog were OK and she was just trying to get money for gas.
Children playing on a deactivated phone reportedly called 911 on accident.
A woman was purportedly concerned about an older man wearing a “biker jacket” who she saw speaking to a younger boy down by the river. Officers made contact and determined nothing criminal was occurring and the man said he knew the kid’s parents.
