C-Falls netters sweep Ronan

COLUMBIA FALLS — Columbia Falls pulled off a sweep of Ronan’s tennis team Tuesday despite inclement weather that canceled several matches.

Hannah Schweikert won at No. 1 girls singles, beating Ronan’s Skyler Shima 6-0, 6-2. Wildkat Anne Lybert’s No. 3 singles match did not finish due to rain and the No. 4 match was a forfeit by Ronan.

Columbia Fall’s No. 2 doubles pair of Alyssa Williams and Zerita McAtee beat Kaileen Howard/Madison Perry in straight sets. Ronan forfeited the No. 3 doubles match.

The Columbia Falls girls won 4-2 and the boys 5-1.

Niels Getts, Caleb Reinsburg, Malachi Brower and Logan Hueple won for Columbia Falls in boys singles.

Cade Morgan and Cody Schweikert won at boys doubles, as did Lucas Thacker and Orion Barta.
