Law roundup: Drunk driver annoyed with parked car

| May 15, 2021 12:00 AM

A woman was so intoxicated behind the wheel of a car, she honked at a parked car in front of her because she apparently thought she was stuck in traffic. The observer who reported her to the Kalispell Police Department said she “couldn’t even get the vehicle in park” and then she crashed into the cart return facility in front of a store.

A short driver apparently was almost too small to see over the steering wheel, but not so little that he couldn’t be seen by another motorist, who called the KPD because he thought the driver was too young to drive.

A doctor called to warn them about his “very forgetful” patient driving around.

A man walked down East Idaho Street “flipping people off.”

A manager at a business called for a welfare check on a man who was carried into his room by two other men. The manager said the prone man “seemed very out of it.”

A man was concerned about his friend because he suspected someone hacked her phone in February and, since then, had been imitating her over text message.

An employee at a Kalispell grocery store watched a man stuff items into his backpack and stroll past the checkout, where he was promptly confronted and he removed the stolen items from his bag.

A disabled woman allowed a man to stay in her garage, and he repaid her kindness by stealing from her.

A red truck was parked in front of a fire hydrant and left there for a day.

Someone was suspicious of a dark-colored truck that slowly drove past them four times.
