Police investigating death of Kalispell man

Police are investigating the death of a 58-year-old man that occurred Sunday at an apartment complex in Kalispell.
In a news release, the Kalispell Police Department said officers were dispatched at about 10 a.m. to an apartment at 187 Glenwood Dr., where an individual reported their friend was unresponsive and they were attempting lifesaving efforts. Officers found the man dead at the location.
Detectives and the department's major crimes unit were called out to assist with an investigation. Two people were brought to the station for interviews and then released.
Police requested an autopsy and the investigation is ongoing. The department said it would release the man's identity after notifying relatives of his death.
The department added there is no ongoing public safety threat.
