Realtors' charity donates $10,000 to Youth Dynamics

The Northwest Montana Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation recently presented a $10,000 check to Youth Dynamics, a company providing behavioral health services for children and teens across the state.

In addition to operating group homes, Youth Dynamics provides outpatient therapy, family support programs, supervised visitation, substance abuse programs, respite care and case management services. The Kalispell and Missoula offices each serve about 85 to 100 youth.

Youth Dynamics said it requested funds from the Association of Realtors' foundation to seed a new account that will pay for activities for the youth in its care. Youth Dynamics said the initiative will help ensure that families' financial resources aren't a barrier for youth who want to play sports, join clubs, take art classes or take part in group activities like fishing, camping and field trips.

The donation also will help fund Youth Dynamic's one-on-one mentoring program, in which mentors work directly with families to improve parenting skills and work toward specific goals related to each child's diagnosis.
