Law roundup: Store wants demanding woman banned

A woman reportedly became disorderly when she went into a store demanding a replacement for a prepaid phone and didn’t like the answer given by the manager who wanted her banned from the store.

A resident allegedly smelled a very strong chemical odor from her backyard and thought it could be emanating from a methamphetamine lab or construction and wanted Kalispell Police Department to check the area. Officers were unable to locate the smell.

Someone requested officers check on the welfare of a man seen sleeping on a lawn even though he told them he was OK. He was still OK when officers made contact.

A man was getting impatient with a woman who was reportedly in a driveway draining a boat and trying to hook it up to a vehicle and he needed her to move because he had guests coming over. He claimed the woman had been drinking and had a child with her who looked to be about 5 years old.

A woman with a bunch of suitcases, bags and a dog was purportedly screaming at traffic.

Someone allegedly heard a disturbance between a woman and a man, possibly two men.

A man with an Australian accent purportedly threatened to go and perform a seal coating service over the weekend for someone who didn’t want the service and wanted to know if he would have to pay for it if he didn’t want it.

A man was moved along after he allegedly walked into a vacant room propped open by a housekeeper and “ranted a bunch of odd things,” locked the door and started breaking things.

A man who wanted to file a police report believed he was scammed after he allegedly gave someone his bank information and sent checks that were allegedly cashed in addition to $9,000.

A woman was reportedly slamming her fist on her boyfriend’s pickup and hitting the window.
