Law roundup: Woman really doesn’t want help

| November 17, 2021 12:00 AM

A woman was released from surgery and then she said two women were in her yard trying to help her, but she didn’t want their help. When Kalispell Police Department officers arrived, the women were not at the residence.

A man quickly made himself unwelcome after spending five minutes in a lobby. He refused to leave until officers enforced his removal.

A woman wearing pajama pants was asked to leave a store because she had stolen items from other stores nearby.

A female driver of a white Hyundai earned herself multiple police calls for her reckless driving on Idaho Street.

A handful of young men were shooting air rifles near a playground, and someone near the scene thought they were “not using them safely.” The men promised to find another spot to shoot their rifles.

A car was struck and its mirror came off overnight.

A man in a trench coat returned to a grocery store after he was told not to come back the day before. He was taken to the Flathead County Detention Center.

A driver in a conspicuous gold SUV was swerving, then hit another woman’s car, and then insisted there was no damage before driving away.

A mother and daughter got into an argument because the mother was “being difficult” and the daughter “wasn’t allowed to do anything.” They were separated for the night.

A shoplifter who had trespassed at multiple stores was added to an even longer list of businesses where she wasn’t welcome.

A man wanted to know if a hired driver was “reputable,” but a KPD dispatcher advised “law enforcement cannot provide this kind of information.”
