No. 28194 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Flathead County Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit applications: FDP-21-13 - A request by John Mielke, with technical assistance from McCrumb Construction and Delaney's Engineered Solutions, PLLC, to allow for the placement of a dock and two shore stations within an area mapped as Zone AE within the 100-year floodplain of the Flathead River. The project would occur on property located at 205 McDowell Drive in Bigfork, MT, and further described as Lot 4 of Mayport Harbor in Section 27, Township 27 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. FDP-21-17 A request by Water and Environmental Technologies, on behalf of Devil Dog Investments, for the replacement of an existing retaining wall within Zone A floodplain on the Swan River. The proposed seawall will be at least three feet higher than the elevation of the base flood and extend the length of the property with stairs located in the middle of the seawall.
