Spartans take down Pack spikers in 4
A strong second set had Glacier in the hunt against Western AA volleyball power Missoula Sentinel, but the Spartans won the next two games to take the match Tuesday at the Wolf Den.
Quincy Frohlich had 17 kills and an ace for the first-place Spartans (13-4 overall, 8-0 in league), who won 25-19, 25-27, 25-14, 25-23.
Glacier’s Sidney Gulick matched Frohlich with 17 kills and added 20 digs. Teammate Ella Farrell had an eye-catching eight blocks, to go with an ace. Haven Speer had 23 assists for the Wolfpack, which fell to 8-10 and 5-3 in the Western AA.
