Stephan scores four in Bravettes’ win

Mia Stephan scored four goals for Flathead as the Bravettes got their second win of the season Tuesday, a 5-2 victory over the Big Sky Eagles in Western AA soccer.

“The girls put on a great game tonight and fought hard until the end,” coach Bledy Doda said. “It was great to see them work as a team and put to work the skills we have been striving for all season.”

Flathead (2-7-1) was missing two starters. Doda singled out Stephan and midfielder Ally Pollan for their performances.

“They showed confidence and played smart and came out with a win,” he said. “We will continue to learn from every game and focus on building as a team.

Pollan had three assists, and goalkeeper Sara Harrison assisted on Stephan’s first goal.

Mazey Kasberg and Hannah King scored for Big Sky.
