Sarah Marie Fjheld, 37

| October 6, 2021 12:00 AM

Sarah was born April 26, 1984, and became our guardian angel on Sept. 28, 2021.

Sarah was born in Yakima, Washington, and we three girls moved to Montana to live with grandma Louise. Sarah attended Peterson Elementary and graduated from Flathead High School.

Sarah worked at the Lutheran Home in Kalispell where she met the love of her life, Dan. They were married on 2/4/06 at 2:46 p.m. and were soon joined by their beloved son Gabe.

She was currently employed at Addis Health Care. Gabe was Sarah’s biggest accomplishment and brought her overwhelming pride. She always had the biggest smile on her face and she was always about family, birthdays, holidays and weekends at Bitterroot Lake.

Sarah was an important part of each of our lives. She was all about the little ones. She helped raise so many of our family and friends’ children; especially Jemma’s and Julia’s babies who brought such joy to her life.

She was Gabe’s loudest cheerleader at every game and was his biggest supporter. Her extended sports family was out of this world.

Sarah was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mom and auntie and will be missed by all.

Sarah is survived by her husband Dan and son Gabe, her mom and stepdad Jeanie and Dan Stetler, her mother-in-law Paula Fjheld, her father Donald Johnson, and her sister- and brother-in-law Michelle and Raymond Pearson; sisters, Tammy Sabiston, Angela Johnson, Tonya Johnson, Ann and Danny Regensberg; and brothers, Danny Stetler III and April, Mike Stetler and Matt Stetler. She is also survived by so many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family from Washington to Montana.

Sarah was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Louise Morrow, Ed and Eunice Johnson; and uncles, John Morrow, Cecil Main and Larry Purnell.

A celebration of life will be at Canvas Church, 255 Summit Ridge Drive, Kalispell, on Oct. 23 at 11 a.m.

Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
