Not much has changed for the Wolfpack and Bravettes volleyball teams since their last meeting two weeks ago.

In that game on Sept. 28, Flathead rallied to win in five sets after going down 2-0.

Since then, Flathead has one more win than Glacier but has lost its last two games, taking losses against Western AA leader Sentinel and then Butte. The Bravettes still have a 10-9 overall record and a 6-3 conference record.

Glacier is 9-10 and 6-3, and went 1-1 last week, losing to Sentinel but beating Butte in five sets after dropping the first two.

Neither team is ranked in the weekly AA coaches power poll this week, but both received votes. The 19-0 CMR team remains in first in the poll, with Billings West next, and Bozeman, Sentinel and Gallatin rounding out the top five.

Flathead is second in Western AA behind Sentinel, and Glacier is third.

Glacier hitter Sidney Gulick has continued her success — averaging 4.13 kills per set, which is second in the state. Flathead’s Savanna Sterck is sixth with 3.44 kills per set.

Gulick also figures in digs per set with 4 and averages 4.89 points per set. Her teammate Maddie Frazier checks in with a 4.87 average in digs per set. Sterck averages 4.08 points per set.

Flathead’s Sienna Sterck serves up .67 aces per set.

Today’s crosstown game is at 7 p.m. at the Flathead High School gym. Flathead leads the season series 1-0.
