The Woodlands concert series continues this month
The third in the Woodlands’ monthly series of concerts will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, in the Commons area of the retirement community.
The performance will feature the lilting soprano voice of Toni Evans, who
will present a light-hearted program that includes love songs from Broadway and Hollywood. Some of the musicals that will be featured are ”The King and I.” “The Music Man,” “An American Tail,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Ghost” and “Good Morning Vietnam.”
A PowerPoint presentation coordinating with the popular “Angels Among Us” will pay tribute to first responders and the military.
Evans has often shared her beautiful music with the Flathead Valley. She lives in
Missoula where she is active in the music community there as a member of the Missoula Symphony Chorale and the Treasure State Chorale.
As always, these concerts are open and free to the public. Covid-19 precautions will be observed, and residents at the Woodlands do request that those in attendance wear masks out of respect for others. Social distancing will be observed as much as possible. There is limited space available, so seating is on a first-come basis.
The Woodlands is located in Kalispell directly behind the old Shopko building and Snappy Sporting Goods store.
