Someone on U.S. 93 complained to the Whitefish Police Department about vehicles that “come bombing down the hill,” every day between 11 p.m. and midnight.

Someone calling from Second Street allegedly found a loaded handgun under a teen’s pillow and didn’t know who it belonged to. They argued about the gun and the teen took off running toward town. Officers took possession of the gun for safekeeping.

A man insisted he did not have any plumbing issues when someone came onto his property, not once, but twice, saying he was called for a repair. The man looked up the phone number that reportedly called in the repairs and believed it was the same number linked to a phone scam from five years ago and wanted the incidents documented by police.

Someone calling from Sugarbowl Circle alleged a woman was walking two unleashed German shepherds that went onto their property and attacked and killed their dog.

A woman claimed her husband hacked into all her computer accounts after they had been fighting all day.

A woman on U.S. 93 reportedly hit someone with the door of her vehicle and did not know where she was and may have been unresponsive at some point. The person believed she was intoxicated. She was taken to the hospital to have her blood drawn.

Columbia Falls Police Department received a call from a woman on 10th Street who found a small cooler with a soda bottle containing what she thought was meth and wanted to know how to dispose of the “stash.”

A man on First Street reportedly did not like the response the postmaster gave to him about an issue with a lost package and wanted to speak to an officer.
