C-Falls’ Robison breaks state assist record
COLUMBIA FALLS — Maddie Robison scored a hat trick and broke the Montana all-class record for career assists in a 10-0 Wildkats win over Lockwood Friday.
Robison’s 48th career assist was on Cheyanne Johnston-Heinz’s second half goal. The old record was set in 2010 by Danielle Brianne Muri of Billings West.
Robison also completed a hat trick before 25 minutes had expired in the game.
“Pretty cool stuff, especially this early in her senior year,” coach Thomas Clark said. “She scores but is eager to set up her teammates... Proud of her huge accomplishment.”
Columbia Falls (2-0) goalie Zoey Byrd made two saves for the shutout. Lockwood’s Kennady Krebs stopped the ball 15 times.
“Huge credit to Kennady Krebs, she played a good game, she definitely deserves some props,” Clark said.
Johnston-Heinz scored a goal and had three assists. Hope McAtee scored a goal and had an assist. Morgan McAleavey scored two goals.
The Wildkats have a noon match with Laurel at Columbia Falls High School today.

Dale Blickhan scored a hat trick and had an assist. Kai Golan scored two goals and pocketed four assists. Brandon Lopez joined the party with a goal and two assists.
The Wildcats (1-0-1) play Laurel at home today at 10 a.m.
