No. 28021 NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR FLATHEAD EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION CENTER SPECIAL DISTRICT BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners (the "Board") of Flathead County, Montana (the "County"), as follows: Section 1. The District; The County has created the Flathead Emergency Communications Special District pursuant to Montana Code Annotated, Title 7, Chapter 11, Part 10, M.C.A (2019). The boundaries of the Special District are the boundaries of Flathead County. Each lot or parcel of land, including the improvements on the lot or parcel will be assess for that part of the costs of FECC Special District that its taxable valuation bears to the total taxable valuation of the property of the District. Section 2. The levy special assessment is to provide emergency dispatch and support communication services, equipment, and infrastructure for Flathead County and its municipalities. Section 3. The total proposed assessment for the tax year 2021 is $3,539,009.63. The impact of this assessment for the tax year 2021 on a home valued at $100,000 would be approximately $15.96 in additional property taxes; on a home valued at $200,000 the additional property taxes would be approximately $31.91. Section 4. Public Hearing; Objections. The resolution levying a special assessment to defray the cost of the special district is on file in the clerk's office and subject to inspection. The Board will meet on the 14th day of September 2021 at 10:30 a.m. local time for the purpose of hearing objections to the final adoption of the resolution. Said meeting is to be held in the Commissioners' Chambers, Third Floor, 800 South Main, Kalispell, Montana. No. 28031 INVITATION TO BID The Northwest Montana Historical Society is currently accepting bids for Museum HVAC Renovations and Upgrades. The project consists of: 1. Flushing and cleaning the Museum HVAC system, refilling with an inhibitor solution to prevent further degradation 2. Replacing 42 malfunctioning valves and control actuators. These improvements are part of a larger heating and cooling upgrade to protect the collection and the historical building.
