A Great Falls man riding a bicycle died Tuesday after colliding with a pickup truck Sunday in Browning.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the 47-year-old bicyclist was traveling north on Piegan Street when he failed to yield the right-of-way and struck a Chevy pickup driven by a 32-year-old Browning man.

Trooper Thomas Evans reported the bicyclist suffered serious injuries to his head and body and was taken from the scene by ambulance before being flown to a hospital in Great Falls, where he died Tuesday. He had not been wearing a helmet.

The driver of the truck was not injured. The incident remains under investigation.
