LIBBY — Whitefish, the top scoring team in the state, continued to rack up goals Thursday in a Northwest A soccer game, winning 11-1 over the Libby Loggers.

Sophie Olson and Emma Barron each scored hat tricks for the Bulldogs, who are now 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Olivia Genovese scored two goals.

Whitefish had six different players score a goal and eight different players record assists.

“As we grow in the season it’s going to be really hard for anyone to figure out how to stop us cause we don’t have just one player that scores ... we have goals from all over the field,” Whitefish coach Roland Benedict said. “Being able to keep the ball and score goals makes us a very massive threat.”
