REGULATORY DIVISION DOCKET NO. 2021.09.111 NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND INTERVENTION DEADLINE On August 31, 2021, NorthWestern Energy ("NorthWestern"), filed with the Montana Public Service Commission ("Commission") its revised Qualifying Facility Power Purchase tariff, ("Application/Petition"), to comply with Senate Bill ("SB") 201. With SB 201 effective April 28, 2021, NorthWestern asks the Commission to revise NorthWestern's Schedule No. QF-1 to reflect the law. Specifically, NorthWestern seeks to revise sections of the QF-1 Tariff regarding the opportunity for a QF-1 to accept a $3.44/MWh carbon adder or retain any renewable energy credits produced by their facilities.
