Flathead Quilters’ Guild hosts a ‘Garden Party’
Flathead Quilter's Guild featured quilter Lanette Cuffe designed her quilt in memory of her Grandma Eslinger from scraps of fabric from a doll quilt her grandmother quilted for Cuffe's daughter, and from Dresden blocks given to her after her grandmother passed away.
For her quilted chair, Lanette Cuffe quilted three separate panels and then pieced them together. Cuffe is the featured quilter at the 2021 Flathead Quilters' Guild show this weekend.
Lanette Cuffe's "Floors of Bannack" quilt was inspired by the linoleum flooring patterns in the buildings of the ghost town of Bannack near Dillon.
