Joshua Anderson and Clayton Cole-Tinkham each scored a goal as the Stillwater Christian School Cougars downed visiting Whitefish JV, 2-1 on Monday.

Stillwater led 2-0 at half.

“This was a great back-and-forth game,” said Stillwater coach Philip Lodien. “Daniel Shawback and Isaac Shawback played a great game in defense. They were able to keep Whitefish’s strikers in check for most of the game, limiting their scoring chances, and then beginning the attack out of the back,” he said.

Stillwater’s Dominic DeMario had two saves while Bulldog goalies Ayden Mintz and Ethan Schott combined for 11 saves.

Stillwater Christian plays host at 3:30 p.m. Saturday to Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
