Glacier soccer teams roll

HELENA — Calista Wroble scored on two free kicks to lead Glacier over Capital 4-0 in Western AA soccer on Saturday.

Wroble’s kicks were at 18:00 and 20:00 of the first half.

Reese Ramey and Reagan Brisendine scored in the second half for Glacier, which is 4-4. Brisendine had an assist on Ramey’s goal.

The Pack also had 22 shots on goal.

Eli Mildren and Hunter Lisowski also scored for Glacier, who is 7-1 and nipping at the heels of 7-0-1 Hellgate in Western AA.

John Pyron had five saves for Glacier.

Capital’s Luke Kaily gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead early in the first half.

HELENA — Carsten Straub scored twice to lead the Helena High Bengals to a 3-0 win in Western AA soccer win over the visiting Flathead Braves.

Kyler Smith added a goal for the Bengals, who are 5-3-1.

Braves goalkeeper Jonathan King made 11 saves.

Flathead is now 1-7, and the loss is the Braves’ second of the weekend.
