Four area soccer players compete in Vegas

Four local soccer players participated in the 2022 Players Showcase, an annual tournament and opportunity to play in front of college scouts, held this year in Las Vegas on March 18-20.
Two Glacier High players, Ella Wilson and Reagan Brisendine and two from Flathead High, Rylee Barnes and Fionna Coulter were selected for the tournament along with other standout players from across Montana through their involvement with the Montana Olympic Development Program (ODP). Hundreds of teams from the Western U.S. participated in the showcase. The Montana ODP team finished with a 1-2-1 record.
Brisendine led the ODP in scoring and Wilson had one shutout. Coulter and Barnes distinguished themselves with strong play on both sides of the ball.
Barnes has already committed to play soccer at Black Hills State University (South Dakota) this fall.
Wilson is a junior and Brisendine a sophomore at Glacier.
Coulter is a junior at Flathead.
