Justin Ronald King, 35, passed away on April 3, 2022, at Logan Health after having a major stroke.

He was born on August 5, 1986, in Palm Springs, California.

Justin and his mother Kimberly Luke moved to Whitefish when he was 2 years old. There, Kimberly met Tary King. They fell in love, got married and Tary adopted Justin. Justin first went to school in Columbia Falls and then Whitefish until he was 17. He then got his G.E.D. from Bridge Academy in 2005. At 18 he moved to Sunset Beach, California, and began working for his uncle Kevin Luke as an audiovisual technician. There, he quickly learned how to run sound and visual services for shows and concerts. He took those skills to the big Island of Hawaii where he worked for a year before moving back to Montana to be with his family. Back home he waited tables at AppleBee's and the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. During his free time he enjoyed getting outside to snowboard, longboard, or surf. He also enjoyed concerts, camping, rafting, and watching 49er games.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother Kimberly Luke and grandfather Jim King.

He is survived by his father Tary King, brother Jeremy King, uncle Kevin Luke and grandparents Ron and Donna Luke, and Sharon Carr.

His service will take place this summer at his family's place on Blanchard Lake in Whitefish.
