Flathead rallies past Gallatin for second win
GREAT FALLS — Alyssa Leimkuehler hit a two-out, two-run single that tied the score at 9-all, and the Flathead Bravettes rallied from an 8-2 deficit to beat Gallatin 12-10 at the Great Falls Crossover softball tournament Saturday.
Flathead (2-12) went 1-1 at the tournament, dropping a 6-1 decision to Bozeman High.

Leimkuehler’s single capped a six-run fourth inning for the Bravettes, who gave up seven runs in the second to fall into a big hole.
Macy Crafter, Ava Besson and Mackenzie Brandt each had two hits to help Flathead climb back in. The Bravettes went ahead for good with three runs, helped by a walk, a dropped third strike that scored Vessar, and a Raptor error that brought home two more runs.
Lacie Franklin went the distance on the mound. She gave up six earned runs. She walked eight and struck out three.
