Shakespeare in the Parks announces local performances
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has been enriching the lives of people in Montana and beyond for 50 seasons. In celebration of its 50th anniversary season, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is touring the state performing “King Lear” and “Twelfth Night.” They will perform “King Lear” Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Woodland Park in Kalispell. They will travel to Eureka Aug. 18 for a 6 p.m. performance at the Historical Village.
Cool down at the smokin’ Riverfront Blues Festival
The 13th annual Riverfront Blues Festival kicks off Friday Aug. 12, and comes to a close after midnight Saturday Aug. 13, with the All Star Jam at Riverfront Park along the Kootenai River in Libby.
Enjoy two fun-filled days of blues, brews and barbecues.

Blue Jam On The Blue is happening this Sunday
Flathead Democrats host Blue Jam On The Bluff Sunday Aug. 14 on a bluff overlooking the Flathead River, near Columbia Falls. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. with live music from 4 to 9 p.m.
Musical guests include Mike Eldred, The Mike Murray Duo, Ross Bridgeman and Big Sky City Lights. All ages are welcome
