Moore scores 22, Bravettes go to 2-0

GREAT FALLS — Kennedy Moore scored 22 points, two teammates reached double figures and the Flathead Bravettes beat Great Falls High 54-34 in non-conference girls basketball Saturday.

Moore, a 6-foot-2 junior, hit two threes and scored 12 points while Flathead (2-0) pushed out to a 27-15 halftime lead. Moore and Celie VandenBosch each scored eight points in the fourth quarter as the Bravettes put away the Bison (1-1).

VandenBosch added 10 points. Akilah Kubi added 11 points for Flathead. The Bravettes return home for two games this week: Friday at 7 p.m. against Bozeman High, and Saturday at 1 p.m. against Gallatin.

CMR 46, Wolfpack 42

GREAT FALLS — Sarah Downs and Karly Allen each scored 12 points, but the Glacier Wolfpack still fell to Great Falls CMR 46-42 in non-conference AA girls basketball Saturday.

Reese Ramey added seven points and Kenedee Moore six for the Pack (0-2), which shot just 10 for 26 on free throws and went scoreless in the third quarter.
