High School Sports: Winter storm causing postponements

The winter storm blanketing much of the U.S. has begun affecting sports in Montana, with wrestling and basketball games being postponed.

Here’s are the events that have pushed back so far:

Tuesday

Glacier vs. Big Sky wrestling: This dual meet will be made up at a later date.

Columbia Falls wrestling: A quad meet that included Eureka and Whitefish has been canceled.

Libby at Bonners Ferry wrestling: Has been canceled, and rescheduling is unlikely.

Whitefish vs. Hamilton basketball: Both the boys boys game in Hamilton and the girls game in Whitefish have been postponed, and will be made up on Jan. 28.

Libby vs. Thompson Falls basketball: Both the boys game in Libby and the girls game in Thompson Falls have been postponed to Saturday, Jan. 14.
