Bigfork boys down Plains

BIGFORK — Eli Thorness scored 18 points off the bench — 14 during a first-half explosion — and the Bigfork Vikings downed Plains 77-15 in District 7-B boys basketball action Tuesday.

Nick Walker scored 10 of his 14 points in the first half as well, as the Vikings (4-2 overall, 3-0 in 7-B games) took a 49-12 lead. Bryce Gilliard added 10 points for the Vikings. Landon Byerman had six assists and five steals to go with six points.

Darren Standeford had four points and four rebounds for the Horsemen (3-3 overall, 1-2 in league)..
