Chamber event tackles retention

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly Business Matters luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 15 at the Hilton Garden Inn. This month’s theme is retention, with presentations from John Caldwell, Workforce Consultant at Kalispell Job Service, Dan Vogel with Xanterra Travel Connection & Vitality Leadership, and Dorothy Meyer, who handles Workforce Development and Community Outreach for Nomad GCS. New seminar series supports businesses

Montana West Economic Development is launching a new seminar series to support businesses in the Flathead. The series is intended for everyone from entrepreneurs in the start-up phase, to those looking to grow their existing operations, and business owners considering selling the business they’ve spent a lifetime building.

Columbia Falls Chamber economic meeting

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce will hold an economic development meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 15 from 7-8 a.m. in the Council Chambers at Columbia Falls City Hall. The meeting is a round table discussio by all attendees and an update on local happenings. For more information, call 406-892-2072.
