Eureka, Mission girls post easy 7-B victories
BIGFORK — Eureka and Mission romped to big halftime leads on the way to first-round wins at the District 7-B girls basketball tournament Thursday.
Mission downed Plains 50-24 in the first game, and Eureka downed Troy 52-4.
The Mission Bulldogs (12-7) take on top-seeded Bigfork (17-1) in Friday’s 2 p.m. semifinal. The Eureka Lions will play Thompson Falls (13-5) Friday at 3:45 p.m.
Troy (1-14) and Plains (0-14) have byes into Saturday morning’s loser-out action.

Madyson Currie scored 20 points, 18 coming in the first half, and Kooper Page scored all of her 16 points before halftime for the Bulldogs.
Krystena Boes scored nine for the Trotters, who trailed 46-12 at intermission.
